#AllGood - It's often all good

Understanding how food is wasted is the first step to reduce food waste. Food waste is usually the result of buying too much, over-cooking and not storing food correctly.

We also know that edible parts of our produce are often dismissed during meal preparation, not giving them the love they deserve. These stalks, stems, edges and ends reach compost or kerb-side bins when in fact they can be turned into delicious stir-fries, sauces, dips, meals, broths or simply seasoned and enjoyed.

Not only are these parts of our produce tasty, they are packed with fibre, vitamins and minerals needed for a healthy balanced diet.

This month, our mission is to inspire you to change the way you see your produce and provide tips on how to season, sauté and sear the parts of your veggies you might have deemed unusable, inspiring delicious creations for you and your family to enjoy.

Let’s break it down – from top to bottom!
